The Demolition Crew are working hard remixing 11 tracks from Alexz’s debut release, Voodoo. Demolition tweeted saying that the re-release of Voodoo will be out in the fall. This comes as no surprise since Alexz recently reviled in a recent interview, a release in September (Alexz Gets a Make Over from LiveDress.com).

A September release seems a bit to soon though. I wouldn’t expect a release until October or November. A single will definitely precede the re-release according to manager, Stephen Stohn.

Alexz is already planning music video ideas for her next single, rumored to be “Voodoo”. “Thinking of music video ideas for my next single.. I love this part…” she said in a recent tweet.

Stephen discussed on his twitter about a potential January release about Alexz’s debut single, “Trip Around the World”.

Saskia (on Mr Jones) talked with Matt Johnson, who mentioned a January release as well.

The date makes sense, considering Alexz has already picked out out a director and producer and picked out concepts for the video.

Alexz announced on her twitter today that she may have chosen the single for her debut-to-be-titled album. As most of you know, Alexz asked her fans to help pick her single. Judging from the poll and the comments on her site, the single will most likely be “Trip Around the World” (that’s not confirmed at the moment).

Alexz also said that a music video will be coming up too. More info to follow!

Alexz sent an email out to all registered fans of Alexz Online which includes great news on the upcoming album!

This upcoming week will be especially exciting for me because the mixing of the new album should be finished. While it may take a further week or so to make any final tweaks, and to master the tracks, once it’s all done we can choose which song will be the first single.. and I’d like your help.

When the tracks are mastered, we’ll post short clips of a number of the finished songs on the website. Then, I’ll check out your comments in the messages section. There are so many words of encouragement already in the messages, it’s awesome. They mean a lot to Brendan and I and everyone who has been working so hard to make this album a reality. And now your thoughts and comments will help us choose the first single!

So it looks like the album should be done mixing within the next two weeks. Can’t wait to see what Alexz’s first single will be!
