Hope you all like the new site! Me and Jason moved the site from AlexzWorld.com/news to just AlexzWorld.com… Which should fix a lot of issues, but started some more. I worked all night to get the site ready for today, but there are still some things I need to do. While we were gone, we’ve done a lot! We’ve added a neat Gravatar plugin to the site, so you can have an icon when posting! How can you get a Gravatar? Well go to the Gravatar site, sign up, and upload your avatar! Yours will show up immediately on here, as long as your email that you signed up with on here is the same as on their site.

Also, you can subscribe to our Feed by email now! It’s on the sidebar, just enter your email and that’s it. You wont get spammed with useless info, promise.

Hey Alexz World! I finished the new layout and almost am done updating the site (finished the Alexz section, except for the Filmography, still have to work on the OnDemand feature).

I’m using a new script on the Alexz page, it should help keep things organized. To use it all you have to do is click on the bar on the page and that section will load below the navigation. For example, with the Discography, if you want to see information about the Songs From Instant Star CD, click “Songs From Instant Star” and it will load below the navigation links.

About the Giveaway, I will have it launched for sure by mid July and you’ll get your prizes probably at the end of August (if you win of course). In the upcoming weeks I will work on getting the prizes. We’re trying to get some great prizes and I’m sure you guys will like what we have in store for you all. Oh! We’ll be including something special which each giveaway. More details coming soon!

In addition, we have a new co webmaster, Jason. He’s not exactly a socialite in the Alexz community, but he knows his stuff and he’ll be helping around on the site.

Smallville Magazine recently talked with Alexz and the other members of the Smallville Legion team. Scans are below, thanks to Smallville Buzz.

Alexz Johnson: I was a little familiar. I wasn’t personally [interested in] comic books, but I have six brothers and a dad who collect them. They were all over the house growing up, and I’d hear about the Legion, which is what sparked my interest in playing this character. Music’s my passion, and I just finished doing an album with Sony. I didn’t think I was going to act, at least not until the CD came out, and after I was on tour. I wanted to wait a bit, but I thought it was so wicked to be a part of the Legion, because they’re pretty awesome. This is a group that supports Superman on his journey, which is cool.

We have been notified that Alexz will in fact play both Laurie and Lia in Stranger With My Face.

Stranger With My Face, the movie that started filming here yesterday is also a teen drama with a supernatural element. Based on Lois (I Know What You Did Last Summer) Duncan’s bestseller, it stars 7th Heaven’s Catherine Hicks, Victoria actor Beau Mirchoff (Scary Movie 4) and Alexz Johnson (Smallville, Final Destination 3).
