The Demolition Crew are working hard remixing 11 tracks from Alexz’s debut release, Voodoo. Demolition tweeted saying that the re-release of Voodoo will be out in the fall. This comes as no surprise since Alexz recently reviled in a recent interview, a release in September (Alexz Gets a Make Over from LiveDress.com).

A September release seems a bit to soon though. I wouldn’t expect a release until October or November. A single will definitely precede the re-release according to manager, Stephen Stohn.

Alexz is already planning music video ideas for her next single, rumored to be “Voodoo”. “Thinking of music video ideas for my next single.. I love this part…” she said in a recent tweet.

Alexz’s single, Trip Around the World has been officially released in Canada. The music video has already begun playing on MuchMusic’s site.

In the video Alexz starts her adventure in New Orleans by visiting various places (won’t ruin the video for you by giving any more info!). Her brother, Brendan Johnson also makes an appearance in the video too! Micheal Maxxis really outdid himself with this video! You can see his style in the video, but it’s so unique from his past works!

I really cannot believe Alexz’s video is released, these past 5 years (as a fan; almost 3 years as a site) have been beautiful and are going to get even better in the next year! Thanks for everything Alexz & thank you all of you for visiting the site. You’re all beautiful.

In other news, Stephen updated his twitter announcing that Trip Around the World would get a Canadian release on February 2nd and a world wide release a month later. Also mentioning that the music video would be released the same time as the world wide release.

Alexz updated her website earlier today to announce that the shooting for her debut music video, Trip Around The World, was delayed. Her brother and her left earlier today in route to New Orleans. Alexz also mentioned that she will be doing the “video shoot, photos, and some behind-the-scenes interviews” and even possibly film some performances of a few songs.

A few days later than scheduled, Brendan and I are heading off now for New Orleans! Video shoot, photos, and some behind-the-scenes interviews. Maybe we’ll film some unplugged performances of a few of the songs too.. “In the late 19th century the Quarter became a less fashionable part of town, the many immigrants from southern Italy and Ireland settled in the section. Quarters cheap rents and air of age and neglected decay attracted an artistic, bohemian community” – Can’t wait..

Alexz Johnson announced via her twitter on November 28th, a little after the stroke of midnight that the music video for her debut single, “Trip Around the World” will be shot in none other New Orleans. Which is perfect, because New Orleans has an amazing musical background.

Alexz announced on her twitter today that she may have chosen the single for her debut-to-be-titled album. As most of you know, Alexz asked her fans to help pick her single. Judging from the poll and the comments on her site, the single will most likely be “Trip Around the World” (that’s not confirmed at the moment).

Alexz also said that a music video will be coming up too. More info to follow!
