Smallville Magazine recently talked with Alexz and the other members of the Smallville Legion team. Scans are below, thanks to Smallville Buzz.

Alexz Johnson: I was a little familiar. I wasn’t personally [interested in] comic books, but I have six brothers and a dad who collect them. They were all over the house growing up, and I’d hear about the Legion, which is what sparked my interest in playing this character. Music’s my passion, and I just finished doing an album with Sony. I didn’t think I was going to act, at least not until the CD came out, and after I was on tour. I wanted to wait a bit, but I thought it was so wicked to be a part of the Legion, because they’re pretty awesome. This is a group that supports Superman on his journey, which is cool.

I capped the Legion episode last night; it took forever! My capping program is set to 70%, so the file size is small and the images are 1080pt and very HQ. Oh there are more than 4000 caps by the way!

History:
Saturn Girl is the 30th century hero Imra Ardeen of Titan, a planet of powerful telepaths. She, Lightning Lad, (whom she later married) and Cosmic Boy were the founding members of the Legion of Super-Heroes, an organization of teenage heroes formed to honor the legacy of Superboy.

Powers:
Telepathy – Saturn Girl can read the minds of others, and broadcast her own thoughts into other people’s minds. She can also establish a psionic link, enabling several individuals to communicate simultaneously, with Saturn Girl’s mind functioning as a conduit. She could summon distant people, probe human, electronic and animal minds, “push” weakened minds, and even directly control other’s thoughts and emotions.

Wardrobe:

• Legion Flight Ring: All Legionnaires were presented with a flight ring that enabled them to defy gravity and sustain movement through the air by aerodynamically generating force.
• Legion Flight Belt: In addition to the Legion Flight Ring, Saturn Girl also possessed a specially designed anti-gravity belt, which enabled her to fly. This belt was ideal for situations wherein a Legion Flight Ring was unavailable.
• Legion Space Suit: Saturn Girl used an insulated space suit that she wore overtop of her costume for missions that required her to operate in the vacuum of outer space.
• Transportation:
• LX-811 Star Cruiser: The LX-811 is a star cruiser commonly used by the Legionnaires for off-planet missions.
• Mark 494 Star Cruiser: The Mark 494 is a smaller space cruiser than the LX-88 and was commonly used by members of the Science Police, but was also used by Legionnaires on occasion as well.
• Legion Time Bubble: For missions which involved travling backwards through time (which was frequent), Saturn Girl could avail herself of the Legion Time Bubble.

DC COMICS’ LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ARRIVE IN SMALLVILLE FROM THE FUTURE TO HELP CLARK STOP BRAINIAC AND THE PERSUADER — The aftermath of Doomsday’s (Sam Witwer) attack on Chloe (Allison Mack) and Jimmy’s (Aaron Ashmore) wedding leaves Clark (Tom Welling) in shock, but before he can search for the kidnapped Chloe, The Persuader (guest star Fraser Aithceson) appears and attacks him. Rokk (guest star Ryan Kennedy), Imra (guest star Alexz Johnson) and Garth (guest star Calum Worthy), also known as The Legion, step in from the future to help vanquish the Persuader and the group realizes Brainiac has taken over Chloe once again. Meanwhile, up at the Fortress, Chloe, as Brainiac, informs Davis he is Doomsday and was created to kill “the other Kryptonian” and destroy the world. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Geoff Johns (#3T7461).
