Basically, what you’re doing is making a music video to any Alexz song you want and it stars you. All you have to do is grab a camera and perhaps some friends to help and create a video. You can even lip sing if you want, but if you’d prefer to hear your voice, go for it!

Send all entries to joe@alexzworld.com and upload your video to Megaupload.com so I can stream it from there to watch it!

Ever wanted to win something autographed by Alexz herself? Well we’ve given you three chances before and this is your last chance for 2009! We are giving away an AUTOGRAPHED COPY OF SELLING INNOCENCE! It’s a very hard contest… But creative!

To win you will have to create a music video or performance video of YOU performing an Alexz song. You don’t have to be a good singer, the presentation has to be good though. Basically, what you’re doing is making a music video to any Alexz song you want and it stars you. All you have to do is grab a camera and perhaps some friends to help and create a video.

There are some rules:

1. The video must be 100% original, except for the song of course.
2. It must be 2:45 or longer, the maximum is 5 minutes. If you do Chicago, just leave out the last minute or edit to your likings
3. You may only do Alexz songs. You can do songs she performed on Instant Star, as long as she or Brendan wrote them (24 Hours, Skin, Criminal, and Another Thin Line to just name a few).
4. Video must not exceed 100mbs. If you need help with compression, just ask me on Mr Jones.
5. BE CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN! Go all out! You have exactly ONE month to enter your video, so make good use of the time.

We’ll start accepting submissions starting tomorrow, and will stop on December 4th at midnight PAC.

Where do you send the music video? Just upload it to either Megaupload.com or Mediafire.com (PLEASE ONLY USE THESE 2 SITES!).

Hope you all like the new site! Me and Jason moved the site from AlexzWorld.com/news to just AlexzWorld.com… Which should fix a lot of issues, but started some more. I worked all night to get the site ready for today, but there are still some things I need to do. So if you experience any issues please let me know by posting a comment here and linking me to where the problem was.

While we were gone, we’ve done a lot! We’ve added a neat Gravatar plugin to the site, so you can have an icon when posting! How can you get a Gravatar? Well go to the Gravatar site, sign up, and upload your avatar! Yours will show up immediately on here, as long as your email that you signed up with on here is the same as on their site.

Also, you can subscribe to our Feed by email now! It’s on the sidebar, just enter your email and that’s it. You wont get spammed with useless info, promise.

I think that’s all… OH! The contest! Yes, the contest. We will open it on August 31st It’s more of a giveaway, since you just have to answer one simple question I’m really excited to giveaway stuff! So I hope you all will enter.

Hey Alexz World! I finished the new layout and almost am done updating the site (finished the Alexz section, except for the Filmography, still have to work on the OnDemand feature).

I’m using a new script on the Alexz page, it should help keep things organized. To use it all you have to do is click on the bar on the page and that section will load below the navigation. For example, with the Discography, if you want to see information about the Songs From Instant Star CD, click “Songs From Instant Star” and it will load below the navigation links.

About the Giveaway, I will have it launched for sure by mid July and you’ll get your prizes probably at the end of August (if you win of course). In the upcoming weeks I will work on getting the prizes. We’re trying to get some great prizes and I’m sure you guys will like what we have in store for you all. Oh! We’ll be including something special which each giveaway. More details coming soon!

In addition, we have a new co webmaster, Jason. He’s not exactly a socialite in the Alexz community, but he knows his stuff and he’ll be helping around on the site.
