According to Alexz’s latest tweet, she wants to get on Ellen, so we’re going to get her on Ellen! Hows so you might ask, well there’s a lot of different ways to do this.

It’s pretty obvious that “Voodoo” is a great album, the only problem – no one’s heard it yet! We’re not going to sit here and lie and say that we’ve done all that we can because truth be told, we haven’t. But hey better late than never to fix these things right?

Our objectives at the moment are to spread the word out there. Alexz has an advantage that many people who want to get on Ellen’s show don’t. She’s been in movies, t.v. shows, and even starred in a Blockbuster hit so it shouldn’t be much trouble getting the music out there. Ellen is looking for some new international music to appear on her show, and what better way to introduce her to Alexz Johnson. It will only take 60 seconds of your time to fill out the form on Ellen’s site to explain to her why Alexz should be on her show. Make sure to fill out all forms required, we’re pretty sure none of the information will be shared publicly, we need a mass number to write to Ellen otherwise this wont work. We have to raise as much awareness of “Voodoo” as we can!

All you have to do is simply put your name, age, address, country, the title to Alexz’s  single  “Trip Around the World” and her name “Alexz Johnson” in the form where it says “artist’s name.” and then state why she should have Alexz on her show.You can also include links to Alexz’s official site and twitter where Ellen can listen to the whole album and watch the video for “Trip”.

Are you in doubt? Don’t be because by raising awareness we can get Alexz on Ellen. Hey it’s worked in the past – just read this story about singer Joe Cameron and his journey to get on The Ellen Show right here. If he can do it, we can definitely get Alexz on there. Have a little brother or sister thats cute? Make a video of them saying “Please Ellen – please put Alexz Johnson on your show!!” Those of you on twitter – make sure to keep those trending topics going!

But don’t stop there! Spread the news about the album to everyone. We have to make sure that some music sites are able to review the album to raise more awareness. Sites such as All Music, which reviews music, needs to hear “Voodoo”. Their page on Alexz is out of date and we need to correct that. I’ve tried to before, but I’m sure if we can all email them we can get them more aware of the album. Simply go to “Voodoo’s” page on All music and click Submit Corrections to add more information.

We can also raise more awareness on iTunes if more people buy the single! At this point I’m pretty sure we can all spare 0.99 to buy “Trip”. If you’ve already bought it – buy it again. If more people buy the single all at one, we can push to get it ranked higher on the Pop charts. Hey, even Lights got the number 1 spot thanks to her fans – if they can do it so can we. A tentative date will be announced when everyone should buy Trip that way we make an impact.

Submit the album to your favorite music blogs that review music. There’s a lot of music blogs out there that love to discover new music and review it so be sure to send them some songs from Voodoo!

Remember the mission here is to create a movement and get the music out there. Alexz has shared the music, now its our chance to push the music out there with the rest of the world.
